Great stay in the heart of Centro Histórico! Beautiful interior, friendly staff Hernan and Blanca. Good local breakfast. Great location in Quito and close to the main attractions. Wonderful stay

One Day in Quito

A more attentive host you will never find

A Hotel that Felt Like Home!
We stayed at Ecuatreasures in June of 22 and had an amazing stay! Hernan runs a small but very welcoming hotel that feels like home. The room was comfortable (we chose the room with the king sized bed) and had its own balcony where you could sit and enjoy a glass of wine. By far the best perk was the breakfast each morning. Hernan and Blanca would prepare authentic Ecuadorian breakfasts each morning consisting of coffee, tea, fresh juice, eggs and a traditional dish made from locally sourced ingredients. They also did an amazing job catering to our food allergies as well. He even invited us to try homemade canelazo one evening which was absolutely delicious and warmed your body from the inside out. Hernan was very attentive to our needs. He provided extra blankets and a carafe of water to our room each day, and upon learning I had gotten a bout of food poisoning at a local restaurant, asked Blanca to prepare me a pot of herbal tea that locals use to calm their stomachs (and it worked!) He also offered private day tours to various sites around Quito but unfortunately we had booked our tours prior to learning that. He also arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport and take us back for a very affordable price. Overall I would highly recommend you stay at Ecuatreasures Centro Historico for a very short walk to the basilica and other historic sites in downtown Quito!
